About Us

• Conceived in early 2011, UnWrapIndia is an initiative to promote "100% Made in India" products. It was hurting to see some of the most fascinating Indian arts dying a slow death and we were wondering what we could do. With a strong marketing back bone like Adjetter, we knew we could reach the target market very easily and hence thought of creating a platform where NGOs, rural and urban entrepreneurs could showcase their products directly to the customers.

  Being from a media/technology/sales and marketing background, we set out to create the marketplace that every entrepreneur aspires for, trying to ensure a sales channel for them so that they can concentrate on what they do best.

  Our distributed approach towards functioning and work allocation, together with the inherent synergies of working with a set of like-minded individuals, helps us come up with innovative world class solutions.We lay strong stress on maintaining global standards of quality to facilitate excellence and perfection in each of the products that are sold on our platform.

  Harsimran Singh : Software Architect

  Ricky as we all call him is an MCA post graduate from T John college, Bangalore university, He hails from the saddi gali of Punjab (Ludhiana) and works on both front end and back end. He lives around 25 kms from the office which is a testament of his love to ride bikes (even in the Bangalore traffic). Very passionate about new age technologies, watches action movies in free time and is a big football fan.

  Dillip Kumar Nayak : Software Architect

  Completed MCA from T John College, Bangalore University, Dillip hails from Orissa. He has been working on 3mshop.co.in as well. He loves to ride bikes and has covered more tha 20,000 kms on his bike. He is a big fan of Suresh Raina for reasons best known to him and had filed a PIL against Google for their translation gimmick showing Sachin Tendulkar is God after which Google corrected this error.

  Nehal Firdous : Content Manager

  Nehal is the writer' of the group. He manages everything content for Unwrap India. An ex-Googler with a Bachelor's and a Master's Degree in Mass Communication, Nehal loves experiencing new cities, having lived in Darjeeling, Kolkata, Patna, Delhi, Singapore and now Bangalore. An voracious reader, a gluttonous eater and an avid cinema enthusiast, Nehal loves things which don't involve him moving around too much! And yes, he can easily be bribed into almost anything with a plate of good Biryani ;-)

  Archit Arya : Chief Technology Officer

  Graduated from IIT Guwahati, Archit is the dude behind the entire state of the art UnWrapIndia technology platform. He hails from Multan and spearheads the Indo - Pak unity movement. Previous assignments include IBM and Via.com. Ardent Roger Federer fan. Most technical discussions end with Archit saying 'Roger that'. Supports the Indian cricket team come what may and his prayers typically include SRT's 100th century. Wears track pants to the office and personifies the 'comfortable at work' lifestyle.

  Parkal Suhas Kamath : Chief Operating Officer

  Graduated from NITK Surathkal and with a background in sales and marketing consulting, he handles the business side of UWI. Previous assignments include ZS and IndusKen. With the technical know how courtesy his degree in IT, he comes up with weird technical ideas that are most often not implemented. Avid blogger, listens to Bhimsen Joshi and Eminem. Loves to travel and ride bikes, plays basketball and tennis and is a big Djokovic fan. One thing that the UWI team hates the most is a Fed-Nole match as in most cases the CTO and the COO end up fighting :)
